New Lending Period - July 2026
Beginning Wednesday, July 1, 2026, the Library will update the standard lending period for physical items from two weeks to three weeks.
- Due dates remain unchanged if the item was checked out before July 1.
- Items checked out or renewed beginning July 1 will be checked out for 3 weeks.
- You can renew your loan 3 times beginning July 1 if the item is not on hold by someone else.
- Items affected include all physical materials that currently have a 2-week checkout period, including video games, movies, music, and Library of Things.
This does not affect items that were borrowed through MOBIUS or Interlibrary Loan.
