Why is my MOBIUS request showing a different format from what I originally requested?

I wanted a DVD and I thought I requested a DVD but the hold request in my account says it's a book. What happened?

In Spring 2024, the MOBIUS consortium underwent a software migration and the new software is still under development and is not a final product as of June 2024. While it is allowing requests, some of the formats are incorrectly listed. For example, you may have requested Emma in DVD but the item listed in your account under holds says book. Please do not cancel your hold as the item being sent to you is most likely in the format you originally requested. This is a known issue that the software developers are working on and hope to have resolved soon (exact date TBD). When a MOBIUS requested item becomes available for pickup, you can call your local Library branch to verify the item's format before picking it up if desired.
