What if I don’t have a Library card?
Answer
You can apply for a library card online and use the temporary card to access our eLibrary for 90 days.
Once 90 days has completed, your temporary library card number will no longer be usable. In order to receive a permanent library card, without visiting a branch, send us an email with an attached image of your official photo ID. In the email include your phone number and email address. We will then renew your library account and mail the physical card to your home address. The last four digits of your phone number will be your PIN.
You can also get a library card by coming into a library branch or using our curbside/drive-up service. Simply show a staff member your official photo ID when you arrive and we will ask you a series of questions in order to issue you a library card on the spot.
Note: If your official photo ID doesn't contain your current address, please show proof of current address.
