Why do I keep getting logged out of St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Historical (1874-2003)?

Answer

The session timeout for ProQuest is 30 minutes of inactivity.

While using ProQuest if you open a new tab/window and do not refresh the new tab/window or complete some type of activity that will refresh the original browser, this will result in a session log out.

Unfortunately, this is set by ProQuest and is beyond the library's control.
