How do I donate my books to the library?

Answer

The Friends of the Library gladly accept donations of new and gently used books and other materials for the book fairs. Find out about donating materials to the library here.

Items Accepted:

  • New & used books in good condition are gladly accepted regardless of age. Note: Please recycle moldy, dirty  or damaged books along with items that smell of smoke or animals. 
  • CDs, DVDs & VHS tapes
  • Sheet Music
  • Records
  • Textbooks published within the last 5 years
  • Jigsaw puzzles
  • Computer games
  • X-Box, Playstation & Nintendo games

Please No:

  • Magazines
  • National Geographic
  • Auto Repair Manuals
  • Encyclopedia sets

Most Library branches can accept up to four medium-sized boxes. Large book and material donations are accepted at the Friends' Warehouse.

Monday: 9 am - Noon

Wednesday: 6 - 8 pm

Saturday: 9 am - Noon

We are unable to pick up materials at individual homes.
