What types of items may I request through ILL?
Answer
A wide variety of materials are obtainable through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) in any of the formats currently owned and circulated by the St. Charles City-County Library.
- CDs and Audiobooks
- DVDs and Blu-Rays
- Books
At this time, we do not offer the following items through ILL:
- eBooks, eAudiobooks, and other e-Media
- Large items like exercise kits or cake pans
Some materials may be difficult to obtain, but may be requested. These include, but are not limited to the following:
- Original or rare items
- Entire issues of newspapers, journals and magazines (copies of specific articles are generally obtainable)
- Holiday items may not be available near holiday periods
