How soon will I receive my ILL item?

We always try to get the item for you as quickly as possible. Sometimes the items are coming from a library outside of our county or even our state. SCCCL primarily uses a system called MOBIUS for the majority of our Interlibrary loan requests. Your request is sent to lenders almost immediately. Typically, you will receive the item in 1-3 weeks. On occasion, Interlibrary loans are filled by our backup system called WorldCat. With WorldCat, items arrive between 2-6 weeks. However, some requests take longer. You will be notified when your materials are ready for pick up in the same way you are notified of your hold items from our Library.
